Our Audiology department offers a full range of hearing aid devices, but there is no “one size fits all” solution for everyone. That’s why we work individually with each patient to determine the appropriate combination of amplification devices, assistive listening devices, and communication strategies based on the type of hearing loss and your listening needs.

Assistive Listening Systems (ALDs) Many patients need additional assistance in order to maximize their listening environments. We offer the latest assistive listening devices to meet these needs, such as:
FM (frequency modulated) systems for adults and children
An FM system can dramatically assist a child in the classroom or other noisy environment by obtaining input directly from the source, while reducing all other background.
It is important to optimize your child’s language input, maximizing their chances for normal speech and language development and improve their communication abilities. Listening situations such as classrooms or auditoriums involve distance, reverberation and noise, putting the hearing impaired child at a strong disadvantage. FM technology can significantly improve the desired input while reducing the surrounding noise. FM receivers can be used alone or coupled with a hearing instrument. FM technology should be considered for school and home usage with children who have hearing loss.
